Biography
Patrick Allen was born and raised in Connecticut. He is a graduate of Middlebury College. He received his J.D., cum laude, from Quinnipiac University School of Law, where he was a Dean’s Scholar and earned Distinguished Academic Achievement Awards for Advance Legal Writing and Medical Malpractice. While in law school, he interned with the Connecticut State’s Attorneys’ Offices in both Meriden and New Haven. Mr. Allen was admitted to the Connecticut Bar in 2007, and is also admitted to the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut and the Second Circuit Court of Appeals, before which he has successfully briefed and argued several appeals. Prior to joining Mills & Cahill, LLC, Mr. Allen worked for a small law firm in Connecticut, where his practice focused on municipal defense and civil rights litigation.
